Setting up POS Item Prices for each Attached Site
After completing this lesson you should be able to:
- Set a POS item price for a site
- Apply the new price to multiple sites
Adding a price to an attached site
Click the POS (1) button on the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the Stock Items (2) Sidebar tab to view a list of existing POS Items.
Highlight the stock item you wish to add a price to.
From the Menu bar select Point-Of-Sale then Edit Stock Item. This will bring up the Edit Stock Item window. Information about the stock item can be entered under each of the following tabs:
Changing the price for a single site
Click on the Sites and Prices Tab and then highlight the site you wish to amend.
To enter a price specific to each site double click on the price field in the Add Stock Item detail window and type the amount.
Set the VAT rate by double clicking on the field and choosing from the available options in the drop down menu.
Once complete click OK to confirm.
Setting the price for multiple sites
To set the price for all sites select a site from the list by clicking on it once and then select the Edit Site icon from the top tool bar to open the Set up Site Stock Item Prices window.
Enter the base price for the item and select the VAT rate if not already set.
Check the box next to Update other sites.
Select OK, you will then be prompted to choose the sites you wish to apply the price to.
