Configuring Lead Status Categories

After completing this lesson you should be able to:

- Edit the current Lead Statuses

- Add a new Lead Status

Using the status field for your contacts provides another level of filtering for searches and reports. LeisurePoint is pre-configured with the following lead statuses, but you can enter your own at any point:

  • Hot Lead
  • Cold Lead

To add a new lead status

Click the Layout (1) button on the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the screen.

Click on the Lead Status (2) Sidebar tab to view a list of the existing Lead Statuses.

From the File menu, select Statuses and then Add Lead Status. This will bring up the Add Status dialog box.

Enter the Status Code and Status Description that will be seen in the WebClient and then click OK. This will close the dialog and display the status grid with the new item included.

Highlight the Lead Status you wish to change.

From the File menu, select Statuses and then Edit Lead Status. This will bring up the Lead Status dialog box.

Edit the Status Code and Status Description that will be seen in the WebClient and then click OK. This will close the dialog and display the status grid with the amended item included.
